As part of our expansion, GAC Thailand is looking for a dynamic and commercially-driven candidate for the role of Bunker Trader, to be based in Bangkok.  Could it be you?

Bunker Trader

Job Description : 
   To be the representative country office of established global bunker trader, GAC Bunker Fuels
   To trade bunker fuels on behalf of customers based in Thailand
   To obtain pricing and help co-ordinate physical bunker deliveries on behalf of GAC Bunker Fuels global customers in Thailand
   Quote and trade physical bunker fuels on behalf of GAC Bunker Fuels account
   Implement strategy to develop and grow a portfolio of customers from the Thai shipping and offshore markets
   Routinely visit customers to cultivate business relationships and initiate new ones
   Follow up on commercial leads from GAC Global Offices within the Thai market
   Understand domestic bunker supply and develop relationships with all physical suppliers
   Coordinate with GAC local and overseas offices/agents on customer's requirements
   Where possible, up-sell and coordinate the use of GAC Thailand's ship agency capabilities

Job Requirements: 
   Experience of working as a bunker trader, broker of physical supplier
   Self motivated to making cold calls & bring on new business
   Customer focus, Goal-oriented, Service minded
   Good command of written and spoken English
   Ability to work under pressure and tight dateline.
